Ben Schaefer - Lead Guitarist
Bio
I grew up in Detroit, Michigan and have lived in Virginia for the last two years.
After six years of the viola, I picked up the six-string at age 12. A great bunch
of guys in bands up north were nice enough to humor me and let me play with them:
Woodcuttin' Ben & Blues Power , Frank Tanana and Soul Spill.
I spend most of my time copying licks from Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Jack
White (White Stripes), Eric Clapton, Elmore James, Duane Allman, Buddy Guy, Slash,
Albert King and Freddie King. CC DeVille (Poison) also gets an honorable mention.
Broken Monday let me start playing with them towards the end of '07. I can't wait
to get out and play some shows. Thank you everyone who's come out to see us, I look
forward to meeting you.
