Jeff Rothman - Drums
Bio
I grew up in NY where I started bashing on a snare drum at the age of 8. My parents
hooked me up with a Pearl World Series kit for my Bar Mitzvah and it is still the
kit I play today. I studied drums and engineering at Berklee College of Music in
Boston, and have played in many different bands over the years all over the northeast.
After school I lived in NYC for 7 years drumming and engineering. My last engineering
gig in NYC was at Jazz at Lincoln Center with XM radio where I worked with some
amazing artists including Eric Clapton, Paul Simon, Lou Reed, Santana, U2, Willie
Nelson, Wynton Marsalis, and Sting.
It was an exciting time but I'm really looking forward to a more mellow, down home,
Richmond existence playing with the Broken Boys.
